Some Questions and thought's

Over the last year I've had a chance to broaden my mind, my perspective on how events and actions of a few at the top, impact on us the ones at the near bottom as we stand in the shit being hurled from above.

Many people in Ireland today are very disillusioned with the politics being enforced by Fine Gael and Labour, bringing austerity and financial misery to many of its inhabitants. So why does this happen when we elected representatives from our own area's to speak for us. Why do the watchdogs of democracy sit by and allow this to happen to the people it's supposed to be watching over.
I live in east meath and I certainly didn't give Dominic Hannigan, Regina Doherty or the unfortunate Shane Mc Entee a mandate to go ahead and continue to bail out the banks and bondholders at the expense of my children, family, friends, and neighbours. In fact I wanted the opposite, I wanted the bondholders burned, banks tamed, and these are the lies FG and Lab fed to us everywhere we turned. So why then did these politicians do a 360 and not represent their people? What right do we the people give these representatives when we elect them, which allows enslavement through bad polices, bad decisions, more taxes more cuts. And the sad thing is they just take and take and line their pockets while they rob you for themselves. It doesn't matter which of the big 3 are in power they have and always will always split the political spoils of Ireland between them.
Of course Fine Gael will say they inherited the mess from Fianna Fail and they are right. Fianna Fail presided over Ireland's most prosperous time ever in history and managed to f#ck it up. These gobshites plunged the country into unknown debt on the 30th of september 2008 by unconstitutionally guaranteeing the Irish Banks and their losses. BTW I absolutely believe the banks hid their losses that night and deceived the 2 gobshites who made the decision. (although they didn't have the authority or mandate to do this). Never the less as a result of this stupid irresponsible guarantee they broke the country and had to call in the Troika in 2010 to dig us out (or do a Bertie) plunging Ireland and its people into austerity.
Fianna Fail got turfed out on their ear (and rightly so) in 2011 when Fine Gael and Labour won an election on promises of lies and deceit.

But what happens, because Fine Gael are a different finger on the same hand our new gobshite politicians continue a ludicrous Fianna Fail Plan, They took it one step further, they turned promissory notes into sovereign bonds and foisted this debt onto my children, while bankers who created the catrosophe are being used by the government to take all and everything owned by the people of Ireland, This is turn is being sold at auctions to foreign corporations for buttons. Make no mistake our government has long since sold the sheeple and assets of Ireland. Our Judiciary is being used to take these assets from the people, while our revenue service is being used to criminalise people if they dont pay the Property Tax, We've created a monster, and its all being manipulated by Europe, Banks and Large Corporations. If all the countries are in debt where did all the money go? Please bring back the punt at least we had control of it.

Now they've introduced water meters, these are being fitted to every house in ireland. Government say we now have to buy the poison to wash ourselves with, cos one certainly can't drink it. Its another new tax,, Government are finding new ways to sell us into enslavement. When they've invented a customer base they will sell Irish Water to some cretin like Dennis O Brien.

Currently Irish water arrive just like a division of the Hitler youth on our streets and start illegally installing meters to everyones house..When they arrive at your home ask these questions and do not let any work commence until you've been given the correct paperwork.

  1. A Contract of works
  2. A copy of all workers safe passes with picture ID (so you can tell if they're the ones at your house)
  3. A health and safety statement referring to all work to be carried out on your home or premises
  4. Your letter of consent to this arrangement
  5. A signed copy of your agreement to buy this service
  6. Oh Don't sign anything either

Anyway there some of the rantings of one who is completely disillusioned with whats going on and can't understand why people, journalists, media not questioning whats going on..

With recent announcements from IMF officials who say they thought Ireland should burned the bondholders, one has to be very suspicious and ask why did we not?, How conceited is our Government? What does the real picture look like ? It has to come out sooner or later. We need a different type of governance in this country, we need a different type of system, This one doesn't work.

Mr David Hall Formerly of Garristown & Batterstown

This is about my grandfather who dabbled all his life in political affairs, I was given a newspaper cutting recently which appeared in the newspaper at the time of his death, I am now putting this piece online for fear it should be lost forever.

David Hall
Mr David Hall, (my Grandfather) Garristown, Co Dublin, who's deeply regretted death occurred at Jervis Hospital Dublin.  Grandfather represented the Meath Constituency during his time in Dail Eireann, was in his seventies and had be ill for some time.

Grandfather was elected to the Dail in the Labour interest in 1923 securing the seat vacated by fellow party member Mr Cathal Shannon, Meaths other representatives at that time were messers Eamon Duggan (Cumann na nGael) and Patrick Mulvanney.

Grandfather did not contest the general election of 1927 for many reasons. he was also a valued member of Meath County Council for the Dunshaughlin electoral area from 1920 to 1928.

During his years in the Dail he discharged his duties with integrity and understanding while applying his work characteristic of deep feeling for the people and the county. His human approach to all matters affecting the people of Meath was always evident in his work.

Very Popular

Since his advent into public life many years ago, he became very popular with the people he came into contact with and was always prompt to help them with their grievances. Grandfather will be remembered as the one who was courageous in his convictions and loyal to the service of his local Meath.

While holding tenaciously to his opinions, grandfather had the gift of being able to appreciate the other fellows point of view and never indulged in personality attacking. practical in his outlook grandfather was a convincing speaker and was recognized by all parties and elements as a man imbued with the highest ambitions to do the right thing at all times.

In later years grandfather took an active interest in the affairs of the Fianna Fail movement and spoke at several public meetings on their behalf.
Grandfather had served as Officer commanding the First Meath Brigade of the old IRA and discharged his duties of the post with efficiency and courtesy.

Deepest Sympathy is extended to Grandmother (Nanna) his bereaved wife, to my father, to my uncles and aunties for the loss they have suffered.

Grandfather was buried on a Sunday in Ballymadun Cemetery and he still rests there today along with Nanna,  My father, and uncle Frank. May you all rest in peace.
